I posted this at networking, but no one answered yet... trying my luck here
Here is the issue:
I have a home wireless network set up with WEP enabled, I just use this for my laptop.
Since I set it up everything works perfect, but just now suddenly my laptop was not able to connect to my router, but my laptop actually finds my wireless router, with 2 other wireless routers (prolly neighbors).
so can it be that my wireless router is somewhat conflicting with the neighbor's router? or is it simply because I turned the laptop on for a whole day, and the wireleess card got too hot? (its an internal, dell 600m).
now my laptop is working fine again though albeit slower than before, and also sometimes I only get 1mbps (instead of the full 11mbps) while the signal strength is full
any ideas why this happened?
EDIT: ok just now, my wireless connection (on my laptop) just went off, and now its fine again... arghhhh should I use that intel proset thingie?
