Help with choosing prebuilt PC

Hi!

I would appreciate getting some advice on choosing already built PC that I could buy in my country. Everything looks overpriced but I only recently got into gaming and don't know much about these things :)
I plan to play WoW and Witcher 3, maybe something else like Planet Coaster or GTA5 or even Far Cry5 . It would be great if this PC would serve for some time and could handle something more challenging in the future (if it is possible to upgrade some parts)

I have several gadgets in mind, if someone is willing to look at the links and suggest something? I could go up to 900 euro, maybe a bit more, monitor included.

Also we have some stores that let you choose all the parts and build it for you. Only that'd be very challenging for me because there are like 50 choice of each component.

Hi, I'm going to assume you will be playing with 1920x1080 resolution @60Hz.

Out of all the options you linked the best option is probably the Ryzen 5 Creative system. It's got a good general purpose CPU and GTX 1060 6GB graphics card which will be great for 1080p gaming, also the 16GB of memory will be plenty to last a long time.

All the components in it look decent though I don't know much about the power supply, but the listed spec is fine. Consider getting it with the Asrock B350M Pro4 motherboard or Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming 3. The Gigabyte board has a better sound chip onboard while the Asrock is better for CPU power delivery, which could be helpful if you want to overclock.
Also consider getting a slight upgrade to the case for better cooling, like the "SilentiumPC Regnum RG2W" which has 3 fans and dust filters instead of the 1 fan the default case has.


If I had to choose one of the prebuilts, I'd get one with a i5 8400 and GTX 1060 6GB. Unfortunately they have only 8GB memory and the motherboard is a low end one, with only two memory slots.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of prebuilts, because they often cheap out on components like the power supply and motherboard, which impact reliability and can also make it harder to upgrade things later on.

With only 8GB and two memory slots the vendor will have a hard time trying sell to me. Then again I'm with you Campy as I also not a fan of prebuilts neither.

If the OP wants to play new and upcoming AAA titles, then 16GB should be the right amount of memory to get. Just make sure the board has two RAM slots so you don't have throw away two good sticks of RAM just to upgrade to 32GB later.

Thanks, this was also helpful. So for these slots I look at DIMM slots? PC that Campy suggested has Gigabyte GA-AB350M-DS3H and apparently 4 DIMM slots, so that's ok? Sorry, I'm a noob at this stuff :D

I should have said two more DIMM slots or four instead of just two. I'm surprised I didn't catch that. Yes, 4 DIMM slots is what you want.

Thank you so much for your time and help. I could stay with you suggestion about Ryzen 5 Creative although it looks I'll go slightly over my budget. I hoped not to go over 1100 EUR, including Win10 and a monitor, but I guess it's hard to do. Are there any parts I can cut my expenses on a bit? Also, is it better to choose build like this or similar only with Intel, say, i5? I don't remember why but I read somewhere that it is better to go with Intel over Ryzen.
