Ok,
we had to reimage some machines that use static ip's
no problem.
When I set the static ip's of 2 certain machines, they will not get on the network.
I know the addresses are good(the pc's always use the same address), but for some reason these 2 certain ip's will not let pc's get on network.
The "2" pc's will get on fine with dhcp, so I tried configuring my pc from dhcp to the static ip's in question, but did not work on my pc, still can't access network with the ips, so I put mine on dhcp again and all is well.
The dns/gateway are all 100% correct, it's the ip addresses that are giving me problems. I thought maybe a duplicat somewhere by mistake, but no, those ip's are not on our network. Anybody have any thoughts?
Tried disconnecting cables, disabling local area connection and reenabling, and power cycling the machines, but nothing.
HELP!
