Why not just take the money, and get an apartment until your credit is better?
Why beg on the internet?
I live in a ****** apartment, and am about to move back in with my mom, but you don't see me begging on the internet for money.

Yet another in the long line of lessons on what not to do if you happen to come into some money.

Is the idea of a diversified investment plan really that foreign to people? It may not be as exciting as a new Bentley, $500,000 house, or a dubious business venture but in the long term it almost always works out better.

He has probably made more money by 25 than I will in my entire life. It's called living within your means.
What irks me is people like Elton John, who are multi-millionaires, filing for bankruptcy.

I think he is just over-compensating for the image that was created for him in "Saved by the Bell".

So because he's a washed up celebrity I should give him money so he can own a $250,000 home, while I have to rent a house?

Fvck this guy. I hope they seize his assets, too.

Screw a temp job...has the guy even worked since the last saved by the bell show ended? Get a actual job. Did he honestly expect people to pay him money to say "zoinks!" for the rest of his life?

I dunno? How much do you think he really made from that show? I mean, it kinda sucked - was barely popular in a niche market. Probably wasn't a bad living for a few years - but I doubt it was huge.

Yeah, but when you're Screech from saved by the bell, you need that bentley to get laid.

Yeah, he probably didn't really make that much. Plus, it was one of those shows that ruins your ability to do anything else acting wise because it typecast you so bad. I mean...what did the rest of the "gang" do after that failed college years show? One of the chicks did a decent titty flick (Bob Saget syndrome) then disappeared. The other one...baywatch maybe? And the guys...I don't think I've seen any of them in anything that didn't have saved by the bell in the title.

Bob... what? Bob Saget was a filthy, dirty comedian BEFORE he joined Full House (was that the name of the show?). He didn't BECOME filthy, he started that way.

We should make a "Donate to a random Anandtech member" page and see how that does. People would be presented with a short bio of the people available or they could do a virtual spin to pick somone randomly. Good idea, eh? eh? eh?

Thats true. He really cleaned up for that show. Reverse Bob Saget syndrome?

Slater didn't do that bad. I konw he owns a couple houses, and is on that male version of the view or something.

Do any of you people realize that Saved by the Bell started in 1989-1993 and the guy is only 29 right now? That would mean he was 15 when the show started.

His parents would have overseen his finances. He's not totally to blame for this. Also the fact that it probably didn't generate that much money to begin with.

How long do you think that money last? That was 13 years ago. Give the guy a break.

Zack Morris went on to do a couple of made-for-tv movies where he specifically played the role of the rapist/murderer who felt no guilt at all. He said he was trying to get out of the typecasting that happened to him while on SBTB.

Slater has hosted a season or two of "World's Funniest Animals", and I think he still hosts some animal talent compenition on Aminal Planet.

Zack has appeared in NYPD Blue, and I think that's him in those Purina dog food commercials.

I don't know where Tiiffany Amber Thiessen dissappered to, but I'd like to disseapar to wherever she is right now myself...
