I have searched the archives (a GREAT source of info) and read countles threads on how to set up a dual boot (including the helpful "dissertation on partitioning by SUO). I want to dual boot 2k and 98 (FAT32) and have just a few questions.
I think I want to set up a small (~500MB) partition at the front of my HDD where boot and swap files will stay. Which files from these 2 OSes need to be on that part? How do I get these files, and only these files, on that partition? I think for 2k I need ntldr, ntdetect and boot.ini on the front part (which needs to be active). I am unsure about the 98 files needed. And have no clue how to set up my swap file there - maybe a utility such as Norton?
These questions were probably answered in the archives and I just didn't understand
