One last thing if anyone is still interested....will the opteron 165 processor work with any 939 socket motherboard. I mean i can get a opteron 165 for about 180 dollars here.

If a MB has the BIOS to handle an X2 CPU, it will also accept the dual core Opterons.

you check with the manufacturer and update the BIOS anyway?

VIA is generally inferior to nForce chipsets because of overclocking capabilities, and also stable aftermath usage. Run stock options and your system will be stable.

As all three are available in my country and i don't know which one to buy. Also can somebdy tell me how good is this board compared to a8v-x board i mentioned earlier.

Also I have 2X256 ddr333 rams and one 512 ddr 400 ram. Will i be able to overclock with these rams.

The DDR you have is probably topped out.
