And I never once mentioned Zima. You did. Wheat beers taste good by themselves, even better with a bit of lemon juice or a slice of lemon in them.

It's no different than putting lime in Corona.

At one time I thought Budwesier is terrible. Now, many years of drinking later, I've started looking for a cheap buzz. $12.99 for 30 pk, hard to beat. It isn't that bad, I see people getting it all the time at the bars.

I look at Bud as the standard by which others are compared. Its just.....balnd, almost. It doesnt have a real distinct taste, isnt too heavy or too light. A good middle of the road, ole standby beer.

Alright, alright, truce okay? I was just kidding. I like wheat beers too (Hoegaarden, Pyramid, etc. etc). Let's just help this guy out.

OP: If you can get your hands on some Shiner Bock, that's great too. When I lived in TX it's all I drank.

Except that the lime in Corona is to mask the fact that it is a piss beer 😛
 
Newcastle Brown Ale has been my favorite for a little while. Guiness is a close runner up. Try at least one of them Orsorum.
 
If you want cheap, get Yuengling. It's much better than Bud. Also, NEVER buy Corona or Heineken. They are HORRIBLE beers that stupid people think are good because of marketing. Instead of Corona, get Dos XX. Instead of Heineken, get Grolsch.

1. HAHA 21 is the drinking law in US (18 in canada)
2. A first time drinker is not going to like Guiness
3. Corona goes down like a breeze (compared to others)

Labatt's is good for a first time drinker too....

EDIT: Corona and Guinness are good too.
