If you want a Neon, do yourself a favour and purchase a John Deere Lawn Mower instead. At least you can cut lawns and make it pay for itself. ;)

Okay so neons aren't the greatest cars, so what about the civics or sentras, are any of them somewhat sporty looking?

Uhmmm, you're on the Internet and need help finding pictures of cars? Show some self respect - hit Google or something.

I suggest using Autotrader, Edmunds, etc. to narrow down your vehicle choices based on your price range and year models that your looking for. There are a lot of vehicles out there so I'd lean more towards what is convenient to see in your area and look for a car that is in great condition from a seller who had all the maintenance records, etc. Once a car starts approaching a decade old I don't think the model is nearly as important as the care that was put into it by the previous owners. Don't buy from a dealer, look to buy from a private owner through the classified papers and keep your eyes open for that one vehicle that has every oil change, tire rotation, etc. documented. Good luck...

Kind of off topic. However, for the best pictures of car interiors and exteriors hit E-bay Motors, generally the dealers there do a real good job of taking pictures of the cars they sell.

Okay what about eagle talons? I really like the look of them and so far from what i have read they seem pretty decent. Are they Japanese cars? Anything unusual I need to know about them, are they a good choice

Can anyone confirm that the talon is a high maintenance, non reliable car like many of the reviews are saying?

1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD Green, turbo, all wheel drive, professionally kept, air, auto, pw, pl, pm, cruise, tilt, alloys, am/fm cass, CD $7,995

Assuming average miles or less, is this a good deal from a dealer. Since it is from a car dealer I should be able to get it for less then asking price shouldn't I?

Well, you obviously didn't listen to advice to buy from a private party. No used car from a dealer is a good deal. At $7,995 they're bending you over.
Edmunds.com - 1995 Eagle Talon
2 Dr TSi Turbo AWD Hatchback
Base Price excludes options
Dealer Trade-In: What Others Are Getting $3,222
Private Party: What Others Are Getting/Paying $3,937

Well I figured that a I wouldn't actually pay asking price from a dealer. Plus I found one in a car magazine from a private party for 6900.00. So is edmunds more reliable then kelley blue book, cause kbb.com has the same 1995 Eagle Talon selling for around 8,000.00?

Always though KBB wasn't a great metric b/c they publish an inflated price to the general public and another one to the dealers.
So the KBB tells YOU it's worth $8000 but it's really worth like $4000 (Edmunds TMV).
The dealer sells it for $7500 and tells you it's a good deal b/c it's below blue-book value. Except the blue-book value is a scam.

Can anyone confirm that?

I'd put more stock in prices from Edmunds and NADA (the little yellow booklets).

Dang, I think your right, now that you said that I think I remember hearing that somewhere else too. But thats stupid though, cause now even all the private parties will be selling them for 6000.00 or more.
