Hey there can you guys hook me up with some tasty - spicy - low calorie things to eat. I'm in a rut. I'm down 90 lbs and I've been stuck a month at 250. I've still lost a pant's size (thanks to yoga 5 days a week) - but my weight isn't moving. I've cut yoga back to 3 days and went back to spinning 2 days. I also walk or ride bike to work daily.

I know it looks like I've got to cut back calories again to see it move, so I've been trying to reset my eating habits totally - things like eating baked sweet potatoes for lunch, having lentils and rice for supper, etc.

I know there is google - but it is like a shot in the dark. I'm looking for verified tastiness in some spicy recipes. I'm cajun - and I love hot flavored foods. However if you are familiar with cajun cuisine - it is calorie heavy.

Anyway recipes eating suggestions - flood me with them. I'm at 250 down from 340 (size 54 to size 42, 3xl to xl) and need another kick in the rear. I'd like to be 180ish.

How many calories do you currently consume? Of course when you're dropping that much you'll want to take it down a little at a time not to shock your system.

Stuff like that is always massively high in sodium though so it's not a great tool for someone trying to improve overall health.

If he used it sparingly he could always wean himself off it once he drops some more weight.

Caloric requirements aren't really my thing, but isn't ~2000 a bit low for you? You must be starving all the time.

Have you considered dropping the yoga and adding weight lifting?

Typically, losing weight is primarily a lifestyle change. You don't want to make a temporary fix that he'll have to change later because... honestly, he likely won't, especially if he hits his weight loss goal. It's best to avoid putting temporary things like that in your diet, especially if you're making a turn toward healthy living.
