My 2 is finally getting paint this month (crested 250k the other day)! I was going to go with straight-up black again, but as I want to move somewhere warm and sunny I was thinking that black might not be the greatest idea. It also gets dirty so easily...but since I already have a black car, I can pretty much do anything for a color and it'll still look okay without repainting the engine bay/etc.
A friend of mine is going to be painting her this month, and I can't make up my mind what color I want. He said he can do a color like this, but with a nice pearl / heavy gold flake - http://ccdcinc.com/Ken/1smaller.jpg. That's not the exact color, but he said it's quite similar (but with pearl and flake added).
What do you think? I don't want anything too outlandish, flashy or ricey, but I don't want to go with a boring color either. I'm paying for a very nice paint job so I might as well get a color that's going to be stunning and not quite ordinary. Pics of my car as-is are in the above link, if that helps at all.
He painted my bike a while back with a brown with heavy flake. I was a little apprehensive at first, but I trusted his opinion on it and it came out like this - it looks fantastic, IMHO..and it hasn't even been buffed out yet!
SOO...what does AT think?
