Nextel's service is horrible. I've been with them for years, but it's getting worse and worse. I can barely have a complete conversation anymore. Although Sprint and Nextel are now one company, Sprint's service is vastly superior to Nextel's.

Anyway, I narrowed down which kind of phone I want and now I need to choose between these 3 phones.

RAZR
Katana
Blade

I'm leaning toward the Blade (A900).

Anyone have experience with any of these phones?

Thanks.

I am looking for a new sprint phone myself, I am currently lookin at the
M610 Its pretty slim.
It has amicroSD slot. Which I like.

My dad just got the Blue Katana, and I would have to say it looks and feels real nice.
The blue lit keys with the blue shell looks real sharp.

I dont like the key pad of the razor, hard to tell what key your pressing.

I know a bunch of people with RAZR's, but no first-hand experience. At least I can bump this up for you. :p

I've got the A900, its a good phone. No complaints. Course, I'm far from a power user. Long as the damn thing lets me call someone and goes *ring ring* I'm happy. But, none the less I do like the A900.

What's the difference between the A900 and the A900M?

My friend has the Katana, they like it a lot, I thought it was pretty nice. I would rather have my Chocolate no questions asked though.

i have the katana... it's a nice phone, but i kinda wish i'd had the option to get a razr at the time. i'd have gotten a razr instead. 1, it's smaller... 2, it's got a better camera... 3, it's a good phone.

i would have gone with the a900 only if it weren't made by samsung... every samsung phone i've had ended up screwing up on me.

i have the blade. make SURE you get the A900M and NOT the A900 (which i have). in fact, last week, it started acting up on me but thankfully its still under the 1 year samsung warranty.

only thing that sucks about it is that its kinda long for a phone and the battery life is alright. 2-3 hours maximum, but i charge my phone everynight so it doesnt really matter.

See here - Doesn't seem to be too much. the M still lacks a *sd card slot and has atrocious battery life. Other then those two shortcomings, I really liked my A900. Too bad for it that Sprint's service sucks.

Edit: And here

You say Sprint's service sucks... I don't know, I've heard good things about it, at least here locally. One thing I know is that it's better than Nextel's. I cannot get through a conversation with my Nextel.
