Maybe he wants a divorce. Rather than get court ordered marital counseling he would rather present evidence of her infidelity. Hiring a PI to take pictures costs mucho $$$, capturing some emails and chats would be a lt cheaper. But I am no lawyer and don't know how that evidence would stand up anyway.

Computer evidence is typically a pain in court. Not to mention there are typically ways to gather evidence, and doing it improperly can make it inadmissable.

The guy who can't afford to buy a piece of spying software needs to protect his assets? It can't save what you don't have. If he does have anything to protect than he needs to consult and attorney to see if any of this information could help him and how to collect it legally.

I'm with noc, I don't see the need for this software, she's already admitted she had a boyfriend. He knows what he needs to know. Privacy aside, whats the point? He needs to spend his energy in better ways now. It might well be time for some counseling so he can decide what he wants to do (I'd leave) and how he can deal with it emotionally since from this thread I'm guessing it would help.

And for the price of an answer I threw my $0.13 in there. If I hadnt, this thread would have been in the wrong forum. Plus, if he didnt want us to know and discuss, he would not have said why he needed the software.

There's really no use for question here, trying to find ways of allegation on someone who has already admidtted wrong doing is childish and pointless.
