I used to play this game when I was a kid... but I have no idea what it was called. All I remember is that it's a motorcycle racing game. There were 3 bike models (a japanese gp racer type, a harley type, and another one). And as you drove along you could beat down the other drivers with a chain/whip or something. The game might've been in Japanese but I honestly have no idea.

Anyone possibly know wtf I'm talking about?

Edit: the game I played was functionally similar to Road Rash. But it was also more colorful/cartoony and didn't try at all to look real.

Also the perspective was from behind as in road rash.

Road Rage or Road Rash.

Road rash was the one I was thinking of

Couldn't remember if it was Rage or Rash. (only one game, wasn't sure about that one game's name.)

road rash. I liked this game.

it was for the SNES though?

I remember playing it for the PC.....it was in those days of pseudo 3d before full 3d. I remember once seeing 'roadrash3d' but I never got it....

From what I can tell, road rash was a genesis/sega cd thing? I can't find a SNES version but this game seems functionally identical to the game I played.

Though the game I played was also more colorful and didn't try to look real.

I still think it was Road Rash.

Talking about old games, however, reminded me of two awesome games: Jungle Strike and Desert Strike! The helicopter games.

It was definitely on the SNES or Super Famicom though. I didn't own any sega products.

Haha desert strike was/is awesome. Jinx-ing left/right FTW. Did you play urban strike? That was another one in the series.

Yeah I loved Desert Strike. I wish you could save though, I hated having to replay the first level so many times to get to the later levels that I had difficulty with. I could do that first level with my eyes closed.

Super Mad Champ, maybe?

It was a Super Famicom game (I'm pretty sure it wasn't released in the US), but you said it might have been in Japanese.

I don't know the name of the OP's motorcycle game, but on the topic of unidentified SNES games - I've been trying to remember the name of a baseball game. I don't think it had an MLB license, and IIRC the box art had a blue team playing against a green team. It's entirely possible that the only two team colors in the game were blue and green. I believe the players had larger than normal heads. I've looked through every list of SNES baseball games I can find, and I can't find this game.

I think you're right... I've actually looked at that one a half dozen times before, and I dismissed it every time. The box art definitely doesn't look familiar, but the game graphics do, and the animation when the outfielder made an error looks really familiar. This also looks really familiar: http://www.vista-files.org/scr.../extra-innings_350.jpg

So yeah, pretty sure that's it. I think my favorite SNES baseball game was Super Baseball Simulator 1.000, which was about as far as you could get from a baseball simulator.

Well, if you're not totally sure, here's a pretty comprehensive list to look through:

Yes, I loved that game. Lots of team and player customization options (relatively speaking) and tons of different power-ups. So much fun.

I may have to give this a try...
