Yeah.... .

I for one would love to see someone follow this advice. The judge is liable to throw in jail for being an idiot.

Just fight it. Go into court and tell the judge you couldn't stop because you were speeding. Guarantee he'll let you off. Idiot.

Woohoo... speeding and chasing a yellow light on bad brakes!

Damnit, xerocool, people like you are the reason we have redlight cameras (which I am completely against). You just don't/won't get it.

If you hadn't been going 43% faster than the speed limit you wouldn't have had to make the decision so fast. Your excuse amounts to, "I was breaking the law so I didn't have the time necessary to obey this other law". Sorry, you knew what would happen. Grow a pair and take responsibility for your actions. Not only that, but you admit to driving an unsafe vehicle when you say that you knew that your brakes are insufficient to stop the car in emergency situations. People like you should not be allowed to have a license.

Don't forget to mention that he was driving on brakes that he knew were defective.

I've slid by the just red's too, although I try not too. Had a friend almost die from some jackass blowin a red and T-bonin him. Course, he lived but just got his bell rung pretty good. He ALSO almost went to jail cause at the time it happened he was transporting quite a good deal of cocaine. Fortunately the cops never searched the trunk, or they woulda been about 150 kilos better off. Such is life.

the picture will be VERY clear
they will figure out who were driving the car

the answer is simple, dont speed and dont run through red lights

I'd suggest a cold shower and a cig but the c-word is also forbidden.

:disgust::eek:

And I guess you're one of those that think it's just about pointing that 2-ton vehicle down the road and hoping everyone else watches out for your dumbass moves and mistakes. Vehicles moving at speed have so much inerta that they can do serious damage to others when they collide......but then again, physics probably isn't a strong suit of yours.

I cannot believe people around here condone "I drove 135MPH last night.....ain't I cool!" or "I blew a red light because I didn't want to stress my car." kind of crap. I suppose everyone else is just less important than you, and your whole 1 year of driving experience makes you a soooooo much better driver than those with 20+ years of experience.

I suppose you follow these driving rules too:

You know how to cross 4 lanes of traffic in 5 seconds with no turn signals, because you believe using a turn signal gives away your plan to the enemy.

You think it's not actually tailgating unless your bumper is touching the car in front of you.

You know that a yellow light means at least 5 more cars can get through...and that a red light means 2 more can.

You've honked at someone because they didn't peel out the second the light turned green.

Stop signs mean slow down a little, but only if you feel like it.

Yeah, all those traffic rules are there just to inconvenience you....they have little relevance to safety, courtesy, or manners.

best post ever. Dude I totally agree with you on everything you said. cheers

You did something wrong. If you ever get the ticket, accept responsibility and pay it.

Exactly.. but lets say you get out of the ticket.. Would that scare you enough to to stop going through a red light? If you got caught running a redlight whose to say you wont get caught in an accident running a redlight?

Actually this is his best defence! He should go into court and tell the judge that he couldnt stop because he was speeding and his brakes are bad! im sure that will help out a LOT!

I want to see his post after that. heh

Those are illegal in most states I believe. It's definitely illegal when it gets dirty and obscures your license plate so that it can't be seen from the required distance.

It has nothing to do with innocence or guilt, is has to do with what can be proved in court. If you kill someone but it can not be proved in court, you are innocent as far as US law is concerned. I don't agree with the system, but that is how it is and anyone who thinks otherwise is just kidding themselves.

Legally that may be true, but consider this. What if tomorrow someone runs a red light at the SAME intersection at the SAME speed at the SAME time, but this time he kills someone crossing. Both our poster and this mystery driver did everything EXACTLY the same, yet there are two different outcomes. According to the courts, the one who killed the pedestrian is guilty, the other is innocent (or at least has a fine), yet they BOTH made the EXACT same choices that were under their control. The only difference is that a pedestrian (uncontrollable) factor, decided to cross one time and not the other.

Looking at it from this perspective, someone who purposely endangers others is as guilty as someone endangers others and causes them harm. Just somehting to think about (not 100% applicable to this case)

Heheh. I hope this guy fights the ticket with some lame excuse, and the judge slaps him down hard with another fine.

Who cares? I just drive around without my front license plate. Been doing that for 9 years now, never gotten a ticket (even though it is a $77 fine).
