Not sure what "warm" water would do. As soon as you drink anything it is cooled/heated to your body temp before it hits the pipes.. But I am drinking lots of water.

Do you have anything to eat that is advertised as "sugar-free", but actually contains an artificial sweetener, like Sucralose? Artificial sweeteners cause many folks to, umm, "move it along".

You need to eat something high in fiber, as this type of problem is usually due to insufficient fiber intake. I'd still see a doctor if I were you.

Yeah I did that a little bit ago. Sugar alcohols. Drank a whole bottle of sugar free syrup. It was NOT pleasent. I did a bit of reading and it appears i have an "impacted stool". Hopefully i get get this thing to move on my own because I dont really want a nurse picking at my ass to get it out peice by peice.

I'm guessing this happend because I was sick for a good four or 5 days and I did a lot of laying down and not moving around. Needless to say if i can get this thing out of me I probably wont be eating much the next few days cause passing anything else will be a pain in the ass (pun intended)

What really helps me crap is a couple big cups of hot coffee. The warmth and the caffeine is a sure recipe for anal blast off!

Oops, sorry, I missed the "sugarless" syrup part when glancing over your OP. I'm tapped out of ideas, except as Scouzer said, coffee. Strong coffee.

If it's that bad and you refuse to go see a doctor about it, give yourself an enema or hell, dig around up there with your finger or something I guess.

A nurse once told me that drinking a couple of large cups of warm water and walking around helps relieve constipation.

Unless your entire intestines is riddled with tumor and you can't absorb ANYTHING, 2 cups of water wont make a damn bit of difference

Sounds like a fissure. I had a bad one a few weeks ago. It lasted for a week. Was a PITA, literally. You pretty much have to force it out beyond the pain, and just keep pushing.

Some fiber might help but too much will cause it to sofen up and be harder to pass as it will be messy, and will keep breaking, and the required excessive wiping will worsen the fissure. It's a vicious cycle. The fissure only needs like a day to heal but by the time its almost healed you have to go again, which brings you back to square one.

May the force be with you.

Well, that runs counter to her experience. She said "large cups", so I'm figuring about a quart.

If that was true, shouldnt people who drink a lot of water have massive diarrhea rather than just pissing like a race horse?

I've never really pondered the subject, as I am extremely regular... 😉

I always assumed it was the heat of the warm water relaxing things, but I guess the temp of the water would get somewhat regulated by the body temp, no?

I wonder if a heating pad would help the OP?

Heh, we timewarped!
