IF any of you know anything about integrating please try this problem and see what you get if you have the time or get the chance. Much thanks!

integrate sin(squared)x(cos(squared)x)
-----------------------------------------
sin(x)

Remember sin^2 + cos^2 = 1

should simplify the integral and you can take it by parts.

Or just use integral tables.

Thanks Ryan , you have given me a start to the problem atleast but I don't know what integral tables are????

Yeah, but you can use sin^2 + cos^2 = 1 to get sin^2 = 1 - cos^2. Then sub that in for sinx... he was giving him direction...

sin²(x)cos²(x)

Use alt-0178 for the ², it comes in handy. Alt-0179 will give you a convenient ³ as well.

Hope this helps...

¡ò((sin©÷x)(cos©÷x))/sinx dx

=¡ò((sin©÷x)(1-sin©÷x))/sinx dx

=¡òsinx dx - ¡òsin©øx dx

=¡òsinx dx - ¡ò(1-cos©÷x)(sinx) dx
----->let u = cosx
----->du = -sinx dx

=¡òsinx dx - ¡ò(1-u©÷) -du

=¡òsinx dx + ¡ò(1-u©÷)du

= -cosx + u - u©ø/3 + C

= -cosx + cosx - u©ø/3 + C

= -cos©øx/3 + C

Hopefully typed in everything correctly.

Have a nice day :)

EDIT = after checking the post, i see that all those nifty integral symbols and those ^2 and ^3 have been changed. argh.

sorry 'bout that.
