perhaps this babby is vertical babby and not the horizontal babby that you ordered? Did you check the serial number and your order receipt to confirm?
get earplugs
seriously, babies will cry themselves out eventually and get over it
Both mine had acid re-flux and this sounds very similar to them. There are two things you need to do:
1) Talk to your doctor to see if this is the case and get her re-flux medicine as patarus suggested (some symptoms are: lots of groaning, lot of spit-up, crying when laying flat & eating more than they need to because it temporarily soothes the pain).
2) Try to have her sleep inclined because the acid is going up her throat. If she is inclined it should be less of a problem. See if she will fall asleep in her car seat without a problem. If so, get her something like this https://www.toysrus.com/product?productId=133066926.
Go to the doctor because if it is re-flux there can be some dangerous side effects if not treated.
Keep trying.Didn't work for mine.

Too late. He's 16 now.
QFTWell you're fucked.
2x4....that'll school him.Well there's always boarding school...
No your baby is not catholic.......Mine had colic. If I held him and walked he was fine. If I stopped moving...hell broke loose.
Whoa, don't ever wake up Super Snotty.
Grats on the baby.
fixed. No, your baby is not catholic.......
I think we broke her
She requires constant rocking in a vertical position. The minute I lay her flat or even propped up head on a pillow, the wailing starts. Teething? Infection? Broken babby? Not sure how much longer we can keep this up, require sleep to be functioning parental units.
One modern item you may want to try is a Mamaroo. It's a diagonal auto-rocker that has mimic features built-in...it can simulate a car ride or a mother's hip movements or a swing or whatever. They run a couple hundred bucks, but they do have good reviews:

Red Squirrel is on the right track. How about turning it off and back on again?
That thing is fucking awesome, but please don't buy one new. There are tons of used ones on Craigslist and eBay.One modern item you may want to try is a Mamaroo. Is that a problem?dear god. All i see is a busted actuator and then you have ceiling waffle babby instead of vertical babby.
Is that a problem?
woosh.I wouldn't worry about the reliability of the Mamaroo. They're built pretty tough. Mine had no problem swinging both a 20 pound kid and a cat sitting on it's lap.
