I would appreicate it if some of you could review the build i put together. I have spent a few hours reading the postings, which were extremely helpful, and put together something that fits my needs. Only thing I have ever really done is buy a new video card and install it, so Im pretty new to this.
I will mainly use it for gaming and dont want to turn down the settings. I occasianly play FPS and WOW. Most of my choices were from the main build thread and some other threads. I just want some fresh eyes to review this and make sure what Im looking at will work well together.
PLEASE when you POST threads asking for input on system builds tell us...
1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing. - Mainly Gaming
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread - $Hoping to stay in the 900 - $1100 range
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from. - USA
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture. Intel, EVGA, open to other brands
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are. Only the monitor, 20" Dell
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads. Yes
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds. Not at this time, but I wouldnt want to leave that option open because you never know
8. WHEN do you plan to build it?
2-3 Weeks
