I pick Petrozza. Ok I'm not clicking Next Page, but that's my pick. 2 hours and counting. I'll record it cuz the gf needs me to pick her up around that time and we both watch it.

you really don't know that, the show is edited to all hell.

but i too thought it would be petrozza and genuinely felt bad for the guy when his door didnt open 🙁

I wish we could get the quality BBC programing they have in the UK on this side of the pond...even if we had to pay the tax....then shows wouldn't have to be hyped so much. And BBC America doesn't count....Top Gear is way late

Yeah, but Christina actually had food returned to the kitchen, that's like the worst mistake you can make.

Yah, very true. Listen to what he said about "Thinking long term." That pretty much translates into "I'll give you a quarter million now, then lock you into a 20 year exclusive contract at average salary."

That, and she must have been giving him some on the side. No way a 25 year old student should be given that position. Reminds me of season 2, where it was pretty much called out by one of the last contestants (can't remember his name) that Ramsey was getting a little something from Heather.

Such a huge piece of bullshit, Petrozza FTW.

Ramsay has had a hardon for Christina all season. Were either of them really qualified to run his new restaurant.
Petrozza was at least a catering director and thus had experience running establishments that served lots of people. Christina was a culinary student, no way she should be heading anything yet.

Edit: Hee, looking on wikipedia just now. Seems that none of the previous winners can still hold their original jobs. Link

Which is why I thought he WOULDN'T pick her, based on previous seasons, when he was infatuated with the younger pretty one, and then went with the experienced one.

Felt bad for Petrozza... but Christina had more potential (and probably fit in better in his LA restaurant.)

funny stuff, even spelled his name wrong

Petroza clearly deserved it, but Petroza was way too old. I guess Ramsey saw more potential in Christina.

That said, people that have inquired @The London have specified that she's getting more of an assistant type/sous chef position vs the executive chef.

Jen is also a stupid wise and beautiful woman whore bitch, and Matt is fucking retarded.

I am glad petroza didn't win...he is not what ramsey looks for...potential, he was not very commandative either.

Christina deserved it!

Christina is not as good a cook as Petrozza, which I think might lead to people giving her some flak in her kitchen because they won't feel like she's earned the right to lead them. Of course, in the real world she can simply fire people for that.

Petrozza has no mind for organization, nor how to really lead a team. I think this was Ramsay's real deciding factor - at 47 years of age, Petrozza really isn't liable to learn new tricks and grow into that role. Christina on the other hand is a natural leader.

I would have preferred neither of them win - neither is absolutely deserving - but I'm content with the final decision. They better pick a better crop of candidates next year, though.
