everyone on that show is a complete joke. My little sister who has been in culinary school for 1 year could do twice as much as any of them.

Top Chef > Hell's kitchen. Ten fold.

Well no shit sherlock.

TC chefs would wipe the floor with HK chefs, but HK is so goddamn fun to watch.

fun to watch a good chef, who is actually super nice, portray an ass for Americans to eat it up? And have people who are mentally handicapped try to cook and cry when they are yelled at?

No wonder American TV is turning to shit.

Christina is not as good a cook as Petrozza, which I think might lead to people giving her some flak in her kitchen because they won't feel like she's earned the right to lead them. Of course, in the real world she can simply fire people for that.

Petrozza has no mind for organization, nor how to really lead a team. I think this was Ramsay's real deciding factor - at 47 years of age, Petrozza really isn't liable to learn new tricks and grow into that role. Christina on the other hand is a natural leader.

I would have preferred neither of them win - neither is absolutely deserving - but I'm content with the final decision. They better pick a better crop of candidates next year, though.

No reason too, you want to keep bringing in idiots, thats what makes it so much fun. Wouldn't be much for Ramsey to do if they were all world class cooks.

top chef is all about the food, whereas hells kitchen is about running a restaraunt.

and you can't say anyone on top chef would kill anyone on HK. on HK they hardly ever even have to come up with their own stuff, and on HK they hardly even show them actually cooking and their cooking skills.

with the way HK is edited you really have no clue how well any of the contestants can really make food.

That is true. Only 1-2 episodes are dedicated to running a restaurant on Top Chef. I guess HK is just not my show. I enjoyed the first season, but can't stand it anymore. I just remember the first episode where Ramsey pretended to throw up in the conveniently placed garbage can.

I see where you are coming from though.

That's true because if you watch Ramsay's other shows he is very picky about the food, whereas in HK he doesn't seem as much (e.g. "Best risotto ever Matt").
