Well, my friend got all pissy when I sent him what you wrote SC.
He says his cousin has her masters in fitness and bio and that he knows what he is talking about. He also said he was on it for a year.
I'm not sure if I should get what he told me or maybe look into Creatine monophospate or just stick to what I'm doing. Time will tell.
His cousin's degree means nothing about him. Tell him to find research about these things. These are not evaluated by the FDA for a reason. The ingredients of Cell Mass, other than creatine, have no basis in research. All evidence is anecdotal.
Creatine monophosphate is one of the few supplements that actually has a ton of research on it. It has withstood the tests of research and has proven to be useful. It's relatively cheap as well.
Tell your friend to drop his attitude. What he's telling you is just what all bodybuilding forums tell you and it's a bunch of crap. It's useless and extraneous and for some reason hits a nerve with people who try to act like they know it all. I'll admit that I don't know it all and I'll rightfully admit when I'm not sure. These are things I'm sure about.
