Hello everyone. I've been a lurker for quite some time. I've hidden and just read your posts. For quite a while I've wondered if I should bother posting. On occasion when I've seen posts such as the blowing things up one I've wondered if its worth wasting my time to even become active in this forum.

However, I 've decided that for the most part you guys seem sensible. So I'd like to talk to you, if you'd like.
 
yeah but then there are the threads that have gummy bears doing it. and the threads from Jerboy that are always a blast to partake in. not to mention the comments that can fly when people ask dumb questions. 😀


anyway, Welcome! i see you actually joined before me but you are finally ready to start the addiction that is ATOT. Have fun most of all! 😉

Okay.
I was born in Liverpool England. When I was just a kid my parents moved to South Africa, after a few years we moved to Australia. From there we moved back to England. Shortly after we moved to Canada. Our entire familly history revolves around the sea. I have a direct ancestor who sailed with Nelson on the Victory. My great great ad infinitum ancestor is Barnyard Rudyard.

I'm presently in the navy, due to etire after twenty years. If everything goes the way I ould like it to I'll be moving down to South Carolina to be with Julie my love.

Is that enough to satisfy your curiosity? Or would you like to know more?
 
I supose it would be interesting for any one not directly involved in my familly. Personally I always thought I'd die at sea. It didn't happen however, came pretty close more than once.

Now i have to become used to a life thats boring. In a way I dont think it'll be all that boring however. After all, I'll have a wife, and finally I'll have kids to teach and play with. Thats something I've wanted all my life but never been lucky enough so far to have.
