I'll be fourty one on the tenth of March. I spent thirteen years at sea. I joined as a marine engineer, after 13 years I remustered to logistics in hope that I'd get to stay home. Unfortunately after I changed trades I found I was away from home more than ever. It makes sense if you thinck about it. Where the troops go they'll always need a guy who knows the system to make it work for them. I just never expected to end up luging an MMG with full ammo load when I joined. Thats a heavy ass load man, the gun wieghs about 25lbs. Then you add 1000 rounds in boxes that fit your webbing, about another 80lbs. Its not easy to lug that around with you on covert patrol.
Sorry, I just realized I didn't answer your query. I was married before, no children. My ex was what you'd call a less than decent woman. She was geourgeous, I'm sure all the guys who had her would agree with me. I left her about 3 years ago, a year and a half ago I met Julie by pure chance. She's the girl for me, even if she does have that funny Southern accent. She has 3 children, all 3 of them are great kids, they love me and I love them even more. Now I just want to retire, take my pension, and go be with them.
