Can anyone confirm Single Player + MultiPlayer or is it just MP?

Same here man, it was suppose to limit me at 150 cap. I think they need to work on their servers lol. Not complaining though, I'm 60% done

i'm about %25 done and its now hitting about 800kb/sec on avg. Usually these downloads stay with in the cap on there public servers. So this is the first time i've seen it go over and stay over.

I'm on a 8mbit cable connection

so my max download will hit about 950-1mb/sec

Also should add i'm in canada so this is very fast for a dallas server way in the southern end of the US.

MS FlightSim does not qualify in the above.

Virtual prop planes are the only ones I can really get excited about flying. Those modern jets - they are too much like playing a computer game......heh, wait.....

it is both ... a SP campaign and a basic free MMO with options to pay for upgrades and expanded content

Well I played through it w/ a 'blademaster'... nice enough but would get pretty boring pretty fast. I'll try the other class later. And by 'played through it' I mean I did all the quest deals I could find, and looks like I'm at a point where there's nothing else to do and I can go any further. Does this demo not have an end per se or am I missing something?

hellgate is MMO*ish*

think diablo + an expanded multiplayer.

Diablo eh? That was a fun game back when I enjoyed playing isometric view games. Demo seems to be available from most of the DL sites now..

I've tried it and ... well, it disappointed me. I was hyped for that game, but it just doesn't feel right. The levels are very repetitive, the graphics are lacking, it just feels old (it really doesn't feel like I'm playing a game in 2007, I mean c'mon Flagship Studios couldn't you have done better ?), and the atmosphere is just not fearsome, like the CG movies suggested. I've tried with the Marksman class, and well, the weapons models are nothing complex, the sounds don't have any "humph"/"punch" to them.

To be honest, I'd rather go buy Diablo II again than play that. Overall I thought it was boring, but that's just me. If Demos are made to give us a good idea of what the final product could be then that Demo tells me one thing so far: Stay away from that game.

Am I missing something or did I really download 1.5GB for 4-5 short-as-hell (no pun intended) quests?

I wasn't super hyped about this game beforehand so I'm not really disappointed but I was expecting better. The levels are extremely small and repetitive and the monsters/demons are just way too easy to kill. Seems like there's very little "meat and bones" to this game but that could be because it's just a demo.

Yeah - I think that was it. From what little I could do [break down loots to core components, modify weapons, run quests, etc] - there is a lot in store for the full version. It definitely has the mind-numbing hack-n-kill of diablo...

Sadly - HGL is causing my video card [8800GTS / Vista] to reset randomly every now and then [screen will go black for about 5 seconds]... It's the only game which is causing this...so I'm hoping it's due to a buggy demo [which doesn't seem to offer the choice of using DX10]

That's cause you're playing the free version. Once you start paying monthly there will be more for you, just trust them.

This got tedious faster than any game I can remember and it's only the demo. It just comes across as mediocre... bland, all-too-similar-looking levels, toilet paper monsters randomly scattered, milling around, just waiting to be killed. This looks more like a budget title than something put out by a big studio.

Pass. I guess that leaves The Witcher (fingers crossed) and Crysis.

Regardless of what this game plays like, I will still keep watching the HD Trailer.
