Oh thank the lord!!! Finally, the first time of the season, we actually get more than 1/2 inch of snow, and we get a 2 hour delay! I should be bowing down to some snow god or osmething right now man!

Buh, we NEVER get snow delays in the morning, let alone the day before. There can be an overnight blizzard with 3 feet of snow, and no delay. Yet a tiny bit of fog or some other sissy-pants weather condition and school's called off. You, fine sir, are teh suq. :|

we'll probably be late here... I'm not sure, I'm never optimistic about our school.

We're like a consolidated school... our school district consists of a highschool, a middle school 13 miles away, a whole bunch of towns that are about 13 to 15 miles away, and a charter school about 17 miles away... yet we consistantly only have 2 hour late starts... we haven't had a school day off yet :(

there is about 5 or 6 inches here. No school tommorow and maybe no school on Tuesday if things don't change.

I haven't heard yet, but I have a feeling there will be no school for me tomorrow. At least a late start. There's no way the buses are getting out in the country through this stuff.

NWS winter storm advisory ends at 5AM. My school will be open due to the stupid factor. I will likely not be attending, because there's no way in hell I can drive the van over 8 inches of snow. Sorry, dudes, I don't ride dubs with chains.

They don't delay work by us, or cancel work unless the building is buried under at least 19 feet of snow.

They canceld school here once. Visibility was 0, and over a foot of snow had fallen in the previous 4 hours.

I miss getting excited about the snow. With my new job, I'm still expected to work from home even if I get snowed in.

Of course, remote administering servers from my laptop while sitting on a couch watching Judge Judy and The Price is Right isn't exactly what I'd call a rough "work day". Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! :)

Thats all you got? I live about 2 hours south of you and we got about 3 1/2 inches of snow, about 1/3 inch of ice and school is closed everywhere around here.

You're pretty lucky, all we got here was maybe a few inches of snow and the roads are all clear. Weather.com says we're up for freezing rain and some other stuff, so hopefully I can get school off.
