I guess my question has several layers to it.
Ive read that HDMI does the same as DVI, but my understanding is DVI just handles digital video where HDMI handles digital video along with multichannel audio. Is that correct or does DVI support audio channels as well?
My second questions is regarding motherboards that support HDMI .. I know that AOpen makes a i915GMm-HFS in Europe that has HDMI out. Im am curious to know if there are any other mobos that have HDMI out as well. I am looking into making an HTPC and I thought it would be cool to be able to hook the HTPC to my TV by HDMI.
Thanks for the help and I look forward to the replys.
