As much as I enjoy the humor the show gives (the dialog and joke are superb), I feel like a lot of the conflict is incredibly manufactured and easily solved with actual practices used in software development. Like that episode with the kid who destroys all their code. Um, yeah, that is like 20 minutes tops doing some git commands and you're back. And that is 20 minutes IF you have to look up the commands. The latest episode as well. The whole Dinesh being a dick makes zero sense. "Oh, sorry we had a verbal agreement and I'm taking it back Richard!" would just be responded to by "Oh, we had a similar agreement for that algorithm I created that powers your shit. Sorry, gotta license that from me now! $1 billion per user!". The whole TOS thing was silly as well. Emergency patch with a TOS and done. Sure, on Apple's AppStore and maybe Google's store it would take like a week. Every other platform is pretty much instant.
