Whenever one of these vampire/werewolf/supernatural show gets announced I get excited and they always let me down... always. I want a supernatural show thats like firefly/BSG was for sci-fi.

What are your thoughts on it? and when the hell is my Song of Fire and Ice coming out on HBO?!

It seems pretty obvious that Anna Paquin is a succubus, but may not know it yet.

So far this show is more in the league of John From Cincinnati than The Sopranos from a quality standpoint. Too bad . . .

What makes you think that?

I love the show BTW

I love the show. It seems to tie in with the books nicely (although I've only read half of the first book).

Watched eps 1-2. I like it but can't understand one word when they do that distortion effect when she's hearing people's thoughts.

i don't like how they end every episode at some cliff hanger. that'll get old really fast. and they already killed off the best looking girl on the show.

waiting to find out about the dog

My wife has read either all of them or all but the newest one... we haven't watched this yet to compare, though.

I felt it had potential at first but about halfway through the 3rd episode it just felt like it dragged too muchfor me.

All the characters other than the lead girl and lead vampire are mentally retarded caricatures. Hopefully a vampire will kill them all off.

I have watched the first three episodes. I was evenly on the fence for the first two episodes waiting to see whether it would improve or not. The third episode was crap. it was practically soft-core porn, not that there is anything wrong with soft-core porn, but it was gratuitous, really bad soft-core porn. In fact, even soft-core porn usually has better story development than the third episode did. So it is one more show, with potential, I have crossed off the list for this season; Fringe was the first.

I watched the first three episodes. The actors playing the two lead characters have absolutely no chemistry together IMHO. It feels more like a father-daughter relationship than a romance. The character "Tara" may be the most annoying character on film/TV since Jar Jar Binks.

I will probably take it off my watch list.

I watched the 4th episode last night and I don't think I will continue watching it. The way they do cliffhangers is retarded, and that last episode really showed me how the 2 leads chars have absolutely no chemistry. I'd rather just read the books and use my imagination instead.

Husband and I turned it off halfway through the first episode after the 2nd gratuitous sex scene. We like Supernatural and liked Moonlight - but not this.
