I didn't care for the overlay that starts at the beginning. I'd even say it ruined the rest of the track.

I've shot a few emails back and forth with him and I agree. Real down to earth dude that basically used the persona to "break the ice".

yeah, dude is a jam cat on keys. listened to his stuff 3-4 years ago and he was just getting started. weird cat but a great musician nonetheless.

There was a thread here about him years ago. I liked it then, but then his stuff got repetitive.

Actually if you listen to each CD i feel they're all pretty different. Self titled album is very chill for most songs, not a lot of pyrotechnics or solos with pretty much the only exception being super-fun. Disorganized fun is VERY solo heavy (guitar sound, stay crunchy, throwing fire). Days Away is more based on chords and definitely more mature than the self title. He still rips it on a few tracks (mainly my favorite of the album, Piano Wire).
