Have you had a Deep Fried Egg before?

I've never eaten anything that tasted worse fried, so if there are deep fried eggs, I assume they are good.
 
My my... how about a hard boiled egg breaded and then deep fried... I'd try that...

I really want to try deep fried mashed potatos... that has to be phenomenal...
 
i cant see that working.... unless you hard boiled it first...

or fried it, and then deep fried it.... lol
 
what's strange is that you can wrap meat in saran wrap and cook it in a deep fryer... and yes, it sounds like it wouldn't work, but it does. I was stumped when the head chef at my old work did it. I thought it would instantly melt.
 
Scotch Egg. Basically a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage and deep fried.

I've tried it, more for the novelty than anything else. It was so-so - kinda bland and greasy.
 
I've had it before. Breaded and fried or wrapped in something (ie sausage like Ophir said) and fried.
