Which JSt0rm took to mean "black people are shit." So now he's started calling a bunch of other groups shit and when others call him an asshole over it he says they're hypocrites (and probably racists too) for not calling out DixyCrat first.

This is a kinda perfect example of the problem with the most vocal SJWs out there. The issue is done, people argued their side of the argument. It's over. Not for some people though, baiting others to come back into thread, insulting people. Insulting groups of people when it benefits their arguments rather than understanding they are doing exactly what they are trying to tell others not too.

It is beautiful to watch the microcosm of this forum post that is playing out in the world regarding the PC craze

Well not sure who you are talking about but I think I perfectly exposed the problem simply by insulting autistics with the same insult thrown at black people. It worked better then expected actually.

All recognition of any individual that takes race into account over individual character, circumstances and deeds is wrong, IMHO.

Speaking to you directly, OP, you seem to only want to discuss race so you can justify your racism. Same thing with your homophobia and other personal issues. Lots of things bother me, but if a straight couple can kiss or walk down the street holding hands, you shouldn't have a problem with a gay couple doing the same.

Dreadlocks were created by Black American culture? Dreadlocks are a religious thing for nearly everyone with them? for most folks, it's fashion. Just like drinking port, for most folks, isn't the Eucharist and eating peyote isn't religious. There are many cultures with dreadlocks, sometimes religious and sometimes stylistic.

If someone's acting like a shitty person they are going to be treated like a shitty person. If not, then they should not. However, often blacks ARE treated shitty for no reason, and we should work very hard to fix that.

One of my mentors is a 30ish year old black man that grew up in Compton. He chose to go to the military, get a Ph.D., work hard at research, and eventually became a professor at an ivy league university.

Some people in his situation had a harder life and it kept them from rising as high as he did, but they tried to be the best people they could. Some of them died. Some of them were arrested for no reason. Some did better than their parents.

But some people in his situation decided that the hard work of being an upright citizen wasn't worth it. That there were more expedient methods for obtaining self-respect and recognition. And that being a generally caring soul just was't worth the price of admission.

No one is shit. Everyone deserves respect. But some people choose to act in a way that reflects outwardly the shittyness that others see in them. Instead of comporting with society in such a way as they can help others, they work to become as shitty as they can, as though to prove society right. It's fucking sad, because these are humans, and we all have such amazing potential, and we all screw up, and we all deserve to know that we are loved.

But pragmatically, if someone is thinking, dressing, and acting shitty they are going to get treated shitty. They are not going to get the kind of self-respect inducing intervention that would make them want to turn away from this self-hatred that drives not doing everything they can to be upright citizens. This applies to Mr. Respect and Recognize, Mr. Methy Mc. Trailer Trash Jr., and many others. I don't see a good way to fix this without harming a great many others; and still not fixing the situation. I do see good ways to work against the historical social and economic issues that lead to being a shitty person, and racial biases that lead to treating people like they are shitty for no reason.

CNN did an article on this a week ago, interesting read; http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/31/living/white-dreadlocks-cultural-appropriation-feat/ Braids wasn't even "made up" by Blacks, so the claim that nobody else can wear them is idiotic. They've been worn by different cultures for centuries.

I get shit for some things I wear too, but I also don't give a fuck. People can wear what they want in public, and everyone else can just get over it. Rakehellion seems as ignorant as usual.
