Maine's governor finally signed an order that will let pharmacies disburse shots sans prescription. Now I just need the pharmacy sites to update and allow for such scheduling.

I got the first 2 Moderna shots...nothing since. I know I had Covid a couple of years ago...at-home test confirmed by a test at the clinic. Had an episode last year that might have been Covid, might have been a cold. Not really sure. Started coming down with a bug this past Wednesday. Sinuses packed up...yet some kind of nasty "yellow water" keeps running and dripping out of my nose. :shudder:

Got mine yesterday with the flu shot, both in the same arm (why make two arms hurt?). Was fine during the day, but as I was going to bed, it felt like the pyrexia hit, so I popped a tylenol. Still felt like I got hit by a truck this morning, but feeling better with some morning ibuprofen.

At the end of the day, I'd rather have <1 day of feeling somewhat like garbage to get greater protection from viruses that can knock you on your ass for a week or more; especially with my spouse working in a hospital and being exposed to who knows what.

First two Pfizer shots here, and nothing since.
One month after the second shot, I lived with and sat directly across the table with someone actively sick with COVID. 2021... Delta variant. Worst of the worst. They were later hospitalized for it, I maybe felt slightly feverish for... 6 hours?

That shot worked very well, despite all the propaganda telling people otherwise.

I got a booster not that long ago and was told I could only get the full shot which I did. Covid will be ok in October. Told me they could only do 4 days earlier than standard time between shots. Flu shot caused minor sore arm but no flu like symptoms some complain about. Maybe I’m immune to vaccines.

Kennedy is guilt of murder by brain worm in my opinion. We have no mechanism for removing the deranged from power when the whole government is run by them.

We should have a way to call special elections via the internet. We don’t need to make a ten day trip to Washington on horse back or buggy.

Ugh same shit here but I tested negative for COVID. Pseudoephedrine, the shit in the real behind the counter Sudafed that can be used to cook up meth, is the only thing that ever works to clear my sinuses when they get clogged. Might not want to take it if you have blood pressure problems though as it's a pretty strong stimulant that raises your blood pressure. And given it's a stimulant probably best to take it at least 2-3 hours before bed. But it works great, at least for me when allergies or a virus are kicking my ass.

Husband and I got our flu and covid shots today. Hopefully that will cover our car trips and family togetherness for Thanksgiving and for Christmas. We've both managed not to get covid so far and would like to keep it that way.

Got my Covid and Flu shots yesterday at Walgreens.
Wife got her flu shot at work yesterday, they usually do Covid too, but not this year. Don't know why, anyone can get it here in Michigan, I'm 61, she's 60. My only guess is the owner of her company is super Maga. The local hospital pharmacy does this service, they did hand out flyers to get the Covid 25-26 booster.

Scheduled her and her mother to get theirs at Walgreen's Saturday (tomorrow).

I rolled into the KY Walmart closest to my home at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon to get my flu and Covid shots. The pharmacy tech asked me how old I was and uttered an actual sigh of relief when I said 66 which I thought was a little unusual. She reaches under the counter and handed me this form attached below…

WTF?! Are they asking everyone to fill this out in every state? Every family member of mine is gonna get their Covid and flu shots simply because I could die if I get it again.

The tech was clueless about the form. Wife and me are just gonna have all of our kids & grandkids taken to the family Dr to get their shots. We all see the same one and they're well aware of my MS and any ramifications of bringing an infection into the home.

I wasn't able to pump the pharmacist for information because my wife said just let's get the hell out of here.

I didn't have to do this in a Maine CVS. It might have been built into the online scheduler though.

Got covid 1st time testing positive on August 8. Mild case (and got Paxlovid day 1), but who knows? There's no way of determining one's status with regard to this virus and it's mutants. I figure I should wait to get my booster. Haven't asked my doctor yet when.

What state are you in? Here in Michigan, our Governor signed an executive directive that allows ALL people to get vaccines. No age limit, no prescription from your doctor. And insurance MUST cover it.

R states are horrible:

I believe the recommendation is 3 months. Just a few more weeks.

Hell no! Not once, not ever. Our entire lives would be consumed with mindless recalls, impeachments and elections.

What a telling statement. Seems you don't want the people to have a way to remove the criminals and such from office.. Because it's clear impeachment doesn't work when it's their own party who has to vote them out.

The very fact that impeachment doesn't work, is why we need an option for the people to remove them. If a recall option causes mindless recallls, impeachments and elections, why doesn't it happen in the states that have such option (not necessarily online)? If course if it really did cause mindles recalls, impeachments and elections, maybe that is a good thing until we get honest moral people back in to office..

I want to say that husband and I have received so many Covid shots that I swear when we sweat, several people near become immune. In every case, neither of us had any reaction to the shots other than a slight arm soreness for maybe 24 hours - until this shot. Both of us developed sore, swollen, red areas about 4" by 6" with all of these things persisting for about 4 days. Annoying but not incapacitating. The only difference I could find is that all of our previous Covid shots were Moderna and this last one was Pfizer. Just thought it might be worth mentioning.

Have had nothing but Pfizer vaccines, my reactions parallel yours except for your last one. I had both high dose flu (not sure if Pfizer) and COVID by Pfizer about a month ago.
