I planned and took two days off just for the second dose. Lots of people told me I would not want to work after the second dose kicked in. They were right.

Of course you’re confused. To be able to think beyond “You, you, you” seems to be a mental bridge too far for you. Sad, really, to live in such a world that only you matters, fuck anyone and everyone else. How can anyone actually trust you for anything other than your commitment to fucking over everyone else?

I really wanted to keep this thread as informative with the ease and experiences people are having with the vaccine, however my Trumpie family just keeps my eyes in never ending rolling motion. So yesterday I was told more of my Trumpie family have tested positive. My niece, single mother with two kids and her job is a nurse in pediatrics. Despite working as a nurse she refused to wear masks when she could get away with it. So now she is positive, and both her kids are now positive. Her boyfriend has tested positive. So while Covid is or was on the downswing nation wide, within my own little Trumpie mask and vaccine deniers Covid has suddenly taken off like a rocket. So this makes my nephew, my niece and her kids, her boyfriend, one of my in-laws, now Covid positive with all refusing to mask and all refusing to vaccinate. So far, no deaths. I guess god watches over idiots and morons after all. Well, let’s hope.

How is it possible that she works as a pediatric nurse and isn't required to wear a mask?

The local VA hospital is holding a vaccine clinic every Saturday. Every Veteran is eligible, and spouses and caregivers are included.

NY tust announce that 30y and up can now sign up to be stabbed by cranky people starting tomorrow morning and 16 year olds starting in April
I'm pissed they did not release a Flintstones chewable version.

When I logged into my healthcare account, the 2nd shot had already been scheduled for me, four weeks out.
First 8 to 12 hours yesterday was just a sore shoulder and arm, but it hit me pretty good last night.

Headache, body aches, legs cramping, alternating between feeling feverish and having cold sweats and bad chills through a good part of the night. Woke up shivering in a pool of my own sweat.

Feeling relatively 'normal' again this morning. Really looking forward to the 2nd shot...lol.

Got the 2nd shot on Tuesday. Wedneaday was a headache and a little over-tired, but altogether not bad. Wife got number 2 on Monday and was physically exhausted Tuesday to the point where it was hard for her to get out of bed for a lot of the day.

Moderna #2 made me feel exhausted each evening for several hours then I’d feel better the next morning.

First night around 6 (8 hours after the shot) I felt utterly exhausted.
Monday morning felt well enough to work until about 3:00. Then exhausted with body aches until I went to bed.
Tuesday morning felt better again until about 4:00 when I felt exhausted with some body aches but less so than the previous day.
By Wednesday I was fine.

Never had a fever, did feel a little warm and had a few chills. Advil seemed to keep the worst of the body aches in check.
