The all are 100% effective at keeping you out of the hospital or morgue.

Which is what matters most.

We don't shut the world down because of the flu these days...

If the impact of the virus is mitigated to the point of being able to resume a "more normal" life, instead of totally stopped - that is still success.

Yeah, its just too bad that so much misinformation exists, and so much pig-headed denial exists over vaccines in general. I swear, we are just damn lucky this same stubborn mindset did not exist during the Polio outbreak. People would have refused the Polio vaccine, and we'd still be dying from Polio to this today.

Flash forward 20 years, and Covid could either be eradicated, or the variants have taken over with deaths still in the hundreds of thousands. It all depends on "people", and mask wearing, and vaccines. If "people" won't wear the masks and "people" refuse to trust the vaccines, then 20 years from now is not going to look very good. Not as we experienced 20 years after the Polio vaccine where Polio was eradicated.

What I want to know is, why would these vaccine deniers and mask deniers still decide to wear a seatbelt? Seatbelts are also restrictive like masks, and a nuisance like are masks, and the big bad government enforces the wearing of seatbelts, yet people will still wear their seatbelt while refusing to wear a mask or take the vaccines. Could it be that too few "people" have experienced a death in their family from Covid? Yet, they have seen up close the mangled bodies after a car wreck?

I hate to suggest it, but we really need a nightly news show on every news network for one hour that focuses only on the Covid deaths occurring from that day, and focusing on the families of those who had died from Covid on that day, and especially running live video from inside those hospital ICU Covid wards. I believe the only hope to awaken Covid deniers into the reality of Covid, and into the benefits of vaccines, is to show the ugly side of Covid. Show the deaths, show the doctors working on a dying Covid patient, and allow America to hear the words from the families.

Just as with the Vietnam war where people were awaken to the reality of war watching the nightly news running video after video of casket after casket, all draped in the American flag, being loaded onto and off of military airplanes. That woke people up to the reality of the Vietnam war. We need this same exposure to reality to awaken the Covid deniers.

I had my second moderna on 3/23 and it kicked my ass pretty good. Next day I was sore and sick feeling, enough that doing work was out of the question. Spent majority of the day sleeping on the couch.
I feel much better today.

I've heard from quite a few ppl that Moderna #2 is an asskicker.

Got my Pfizer #1 recently. Glad I got that one, also is 21 instead of 28.

Let me help you with that being i am what you consider a denier. I refuse to do what government tells me to do, i am not denying that Covid is real and it kills people. However i will be refusing to get vaccinated 1) because apparently i had Covid and didn't know about it 2) I refuse to wear a mask as i again refuse to do what government tells me to do. You can put on tv pictures/video of people dying and it will not change my mind. As a family we been getting together with others pretty much since March and will continue to do so. Unless government straps me down and gives me the vaccination and/or jails me for no wearing a mask, i will not put it on.

Go fuck yourself. Mask wearing isn’t about your pathetic ass it’s about protecting your fellow citizens from your potentially infected ass. My wife works retail and I can’t stand selfish, disrespectful fucks like you.

I don't care about protecting others. As free American, I'll live my life the way I wan to live it and not the way government tells me to.

First Pfizer dose couple days ago was uneventful. Not much to report until dose #2. Went to a FEMA ran site in the city. It was ridiculously easy and well organized.

Getting mine tomorrow as they are now taking "obesity" as a medical condition to jump the line, so I was able to get it without lying. I guess 35 lbs overweight is obesity. Not proud of qualifying by that criteria, but I'm happy to get it tomorrow instead of waiting a month.

Got my second Moderna shot this morning. I was doing fine until this evening. Then I just felt like I was exhausted. Now I’m starting to get the body aches. I guess I’ll see about work tomorrow.

My wife who had the J&J and my son who had the Pfizer had similar issues.

Had my first dose (Moderna) on 03/18. Couldn't raise my left arm over shoulder height for 3 days after that one. Am scheduled for 2nd shot on 04/15. I expect that one to be really fun based upon the described experiences of others with it....
