Have you ever won an award?

I won some art contests and some wrestling awards when I was younger.

I won a scholarship - that was cool.

 
I always got trophies in elementary school for grades and such. Middle and High School reverted to paper certificates, which were meaningless to me. I did win a few local and state science fairs in High School. Even got a graphing Calculator as a prize, once. I was awarded 3 scholarships for college. And at work, I've been given a few little $50/$100 GC for completing projects ahead of schedule and such. Other than that, no. I don't play sports or compete at anything, really.
 
my boss gave me this little statue thing that says "we can't have S_ccess without U" , something corny like that 😱

i won 2nd place at the county fair for my sheep when i was 8 years old / 4H thing. the prize was like $7 which was huge for an 8 year old in 1974
 
Won a few awards in HS, notably in Applied Arts from BofA. I think I won it by being in woodshop during freshman year...weird thing is that I didnt even apply for the award.
 
Scholarship to school that I didn't use.
Semper fi Delis award for soloist and concert performer.
Around $350.00 in a raffle once.
 
LOL - a Creative Writing award in grade 8. Also, Most Sportsmanlike Player on my hockey team 3 years in a row back in the 90s.
 
I got Distinguished Graduate, Top Graduate, and Electronics Ace awards for Electronic Principles and Satellite/Wideband communications courses while I was in the military.
