end of part 3 was mint... You got a map?

Couldn't he have said ... I want a lawyer, and just stop talking? Or was he hosed? I never followed, I didn't even know who Russell Williams was.

lol...funny guy

but yes, the suggestion you offered would be great.

also, innocent people generalyl do not stare at evidence in silence, they start spitting out info and rationalizing things

atleast accord to my ex-police investigator/chief boss

he was pretty hosed, they had evidence on his vehicle and truck at the crime scene.

well by that point it was clear that the guy was the suspect and they had a ton of evidence. I don't know how the guy could be acting smug by walking into the room, sitting down, acting friendly. don't think he had cuffs on, seemed like he came in without much fuss

most people arent that smug and confortable in an interrogation even when innocent

also, the look and smile right when he looks at the camera is a dead giveway that something is up

are you an expert in reading body language? i bet you 10 bucks if you did not know this was a true confession you would have never assumed what you did.

because he didnt seem to think he was a suspect, and he obviously did it.

so because he knew he was guilty, he shouldn't have tried to act innocent?

he wasnt acting innocent. thats the point. he was 'acting' innocent, which was nothing like a falsely accused innocent person acts like, according to a room full of retired cops that I work with.

as for the lawyers this.....lots of serial killers/psychopaths do want to end up getting caught, its part of the psychology, you cant get the recognition if you dont get caught. also why they escalate, ie from creepily masterbaiting in the girls rooms, to raping and murdering them.

Notice how he scrutinizes the evidence against him as if its going to change if he looks at it hard enough? Yeah, that's a good sign of guilt during an interrogation.

There's so much English fail in this post it doesn't make any sense at all.

What is the proper way to act when you go to a interrogation room? There is no proper way especially when you deal with this type of serial killer. This guy was a high ranking officer.

I will try and put this as plainly as possible.

The way the guy was acting at the beginning, so I am told, by collectively over a hundred years of investigation experience, is not how an innocent person generally acts when being questioned by the police about a crime.

innocent people generally all act about the same, they are uncomfortable because they arent used to being there, and they dont know whats going on. Whenprecented with evidence that could implicate them generally just start talking and talking, about what they were doing and how that ocouldnt have been them, and it happens fast. This is because lying requires more time and thought than just spurting out the truth.

Its also noticable because its not an 'act' which is why most people end up diplaying the same behavior.

Repeat offenders(and socio/psychopaths), and cops, act different than the general public. That could go for military, except he had an excellent record, and this guy wasnt a POW.

Alone: is this better? I was in a hurry before

You cant get the recognition for the recognition if you dont get caught.

Also this is why they escalate their crimes, ie from creepily masterbating in the girls rooms, to raping and murdering them.

The worse the crime committed, the larger the investigation.

He obviously got off on it, keeping clipings and news segments about his previous crimes. For how clever a guy he was to do all that without getting caught, it would be silly to keep all the evidence on your home PC, unless of course, you planned on owning up to it eventually.

This is great video. I'm very impressed with the interrogating officer - he has a great, persuasive tone without being in any way overreaching.

No body + no murder weapon = no crime right? Don't get me wrong..I'm glad he was busted and convicted..but if he had any sense he wouldn't have given the location of the body.
