This guy was a colonel in Canada's Air Force and was suspected of raping and killing 2 girls. It gets weirder, he documented everything and kept souvenirs. He also broke into houses and jerked off in little girls' rooms while wearing their underwear. Pretty big story up here.

Anyways, here is his confession. The best part is when he realizes he is not just there to answer a few questions, but he is the suspect.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah51vPzcVEM Part 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mQA2yQFZ8o Part 3

The first 35 seconds of part 1 are quite comical considering we know where it is going.

Wish there was a part 4. The video stops as soon as he's starting to confess.

If that were me as soon as I figured out what was going on I would've been like, this interview is over, I want to talk to a lawyer.

The cops job is to keep you from thinking that. You'd be surprised how effective they can be.

Not if you want it to end or if you want to tell the truth.

It was pretty cool how calm the officer was, and how he never referred to them as "murders", they were known as "situations"

It's sad to think this guy was the wing commander at CFB Tenton. And before anyone claims PTSD, this guy only had two medals, one is given automatically after 12 years and the other was probably given to him for flying someone into another country.

Pathetic.

To think he carried the Olympic torch, was standing next to the Queen, flew Harper, etc, etc.

For the non Canadians, Trenton is Canada's biggest air force base.

That was depressing. Watching a "normal" looking guy and knowing what he did and where it's going.

Wow... that was incredible. These 3 videos are better than a whole season's worth of CSI.

Ugh, those are hard to watch. I hope Canada has a death penalty that they'll use here.

I didn't think that detective was very good but he did get the confession in the end. Suspect doesn't seem remorseful at all, only worried about his wife and not the victims family.

how was he being smug at all?

the look on his face when he thinks hes just there to answer a few questions, the big shit eating grin when he says hes never been interrogated or questioned in a room like that before.

what do you want him to do? not act like he is calm and innocent, and just walk in and confess?

:awe:

most people arent that smug and confortable in an interrogation even when innocent

also, the look and smile right when he looks at the camera is a dead giveway that something is up
