Had a class in elementary school with two other kids with same first and last name as me. They both also had the same middle initial but mine was different.

At my last job there were four of us with the same first name and last initial so we all went by our last name.

Oh and my dad though our middle names are different, not sure that even counts really.

I'm named for my grandfather, who died before I was born. He divorced my grandmother and started another family, who also had a grandson named for the grandfather. That other grandson currently lives on the other side of the country from me. We're the only three people in history who have had the name, but I've never actually met either of the other two.

Not met or spoke to any online or IRL. But can be found in abundance on FB, or LinkedIn. It sucks. Why can't I have a fucking cool name? Should I have children, they are going to get fucking awesome names.

Okay sir: You're a Lebowski. I'm a Lebowski. That's terrific. I'm very busy. So what can I do for you?

Part of our family has a polish last name, and that particular last name seems to be extremely rare in this country.

Nope, but then again, I've never met anyone with the same last name that I wasn't related to...(I know they exist...I've just never met any)

According to FB there are 5 others in the US; howmanyofme says 6 others (7 total). So no...

In fact, I've only met one other person with my last name outside of family functions - it was a bit strange. It was in college and she was kinda hot, which was even weirder. I do have a distant relative who I've never met on death row - when I asked my dad about it he changed the subject pretty quickly.

I haven't met him, but there is someone with my same first and last name that is a nuclear physicist. It's very odd because I have a very ethnic and complicated last name, so I wouldn't expect it to be common.

Kind of feel like a failure compared to this guy. He's a published physicist, and I'm a glorified PC technician :$

I haven't met, but a quick Google search reveals I'm a car designer who's friends with the creator of Gran Turismo.

If dad doesn't count, there is no one. I have only met one other person with my first name spelled correctly.

I've never met a non-family member with the same last name as me. No one in my family shares my first name. So no.

I answered no, but I actually have.

I was named for my great-grandmother and I did meet her, though she died when I was three years old. I have no memories of her. :(

I'm told she used to confuse the heck out of me, by asking for my name, then saying "No, that's MY name." :D

I share my name with a fictional scientist and a famous clown. Most people with a similar-sounding name spell it differently, like the football player. Who am I?

Good to meet you, Mr. Bozo Strangelove!
