haha yeah, me and my roommates going to visit some friends in AZ and this guy always drives with barely any gas. We had to walk like 20 Miles to a local gas station, practically we were in the desert. At the gas station we saw a CHP and told him our car ran out of gas and he kindly gave us a ride back!
walking there was pain in the asss but good timesback seat inside a CHP car is uncomfortable for those who dont know

4-5 times in various cars and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Most of you haven't driven cars where things like gas gauges don't work. I did it a few times in my 69 Camaro because the gas gauge wasn't a go fast part and I choose to spend my money on those.
The gauge on my 95 TranAm sucks and is wildly inaccurate in the low range. Burnt out the fuel pump because of it. I don't do it anymore in that car.

I've run out of gas twice in the same car. The gas gauge doesn't work so I have to use the trip meter to guess how much gas I have left. Guess I didn't guess too well these times.

I've riden many a motorcycle with no gas gauge. You use the tripometer to judge when you're low on gas.
