Ever been given a vacation or a warning for something you said or did? If so why?



I got 2 warnings, each an hour apart for distributing umm... "Links" via PM. 😉
 
I was banned once, but not because of something I did. Remember the neffing spree in late July, and the subsequent mass bannings?
 
I got a week's vacation for writing the short form of "In Before The Lock." However, that week turned into three because the mods 'forgot' to reactivate me. I had to play email tag with them for about 2 weeks! Oh well, I'm back and that was way back in last spring.
 
I got a nice note about a problem with my email address. Seems my ISP was having problems with POP3.

I was banned once because the mod was retarded. He/she thought I made a second account but really it was a friend of mine using his own account,just were using the same computer at school so the IPs were the same.

Keep insulting us and you will recieve a Christmas vacation

That's true, I ALMOST got banned because I said 'In before the Lock' but a couple nice members warned me and I changed it before damages could be reaked on my puny account. 🙂

Hehe, some times mods don't catch everyone. I remember someone posted the lesbian scene in cruel intentions 2, linked to a smiley. It never got locked. 🙂

I was banned a long time ago (~3 years) under another name.

I was also banned for a week about a year ago for posting a picture the mods claimed they had told me not to post (Total BS, why would I go out of my way to do something they told me not to?). Strangely I was the only one ever banned for posting the pic, it was posted many times prior to my banning & I believe a few times afterwards by other people.

I don't think that is true. Because if they read my PMs I would have been gone long ago. I have traded so many warez ftp IPs it's not even funny. Jokes on you AT! hehe

Actually, they have stated explicitly that they can and will read PM's if circumstances warrant it.

I was banned for 1 week for posting that it was my 1000th post! I was so happy about my 1000th post..I guess the Mod that evening did not share my enthusiasm.😀

I had the same problem as jumpr. After 2 months I finally started emailing the Mods. I was returned to the forums and actually got an apology (for why I was banned and for being forgotten).
