Snowboarding is great fun. I also bike ride year round (no car). That's kinda like snowboarding if they haven't cleared the streets yet... Snowboarding with wheels!

If I could combine the gulf coast culture with extreme mountains and -70° winters, I would love it. I like cold weather.

Shit, it's almost fall? Thank God... maybe the weather will cool off soon and I won't get drenched in sweat during the 9 block walk to class.

LOL! I don't think anybody would like -70! I think 0 to -10 is pretty much where it's at. Nice and crispy but you can dress for it.

I rode my bike home after bar close one night last winter and when I got inside, I realized my beard was completely frozen in whatever shape my mouth makes when I'm breathing hard! I looked at the temp online and it was only -22F! 🙂

The coldest I've ever experienced is -25. I liked it.

The only reason i dislike fall is because of the work involved with the leaves. I love the brisk temps. The temps are down now but the leaves are still attached to summer.

We don't have fall in Seattle. We have two seasons. Overcast, which goes from September-May, and Sunny, which goes from June-August. I believe this weekend, the hibernative period begins.

Hibernation? So that means you'll quit talking about the cowgirls? 😀 lol

I live in FL, land of perpetual summer. It's hot all the time. We have two seasons, hurricane and tourist.

We don't have seasons here in LA.

i thought there were two: grey and purple

lately it's been on fire not on fire.

Currently it's on fire.

Don't forget L.A.'s OTHER season...Mudslide

It's been hot here. A couple days over 100.
SUPPOSED to cool down a bit for the weekend, (around 90) then heat back up.

Yea verily. Tree out front is turning 30% red. Haven't noticed any others.
Beginning of Sept. is waay early here in Texas. But with August highs in the 80s it's been 10° cooler than normal so the trees may be fooled.

no leaves turning here in southern Ontario. Its still very summer like here.

It will look awesome in another month or so. Outside the city fall looks so amazing here.

For you people who live where it snows a lot, do you or have you ever snowboarded? I would really like to try it sometime.

Sure. Snowboarding, cross country skiing (very scenic), downhill skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, easier to track game while hunting... We people who enjoy 4 seasons get to do exactly that - enjoy FOUR seasons. You "haha, it doesn't snow here" people get to huddle inside around your air conditioners several months of the year. 😛 ;:
