Have the leaves started changing color where you live?

SAWYER

Lifer
Fall is my favorite season. I noticed some of the leaves in my trees are starting to turn, what about where you live?

Where do you live? I thought things started pretty early here in Minnesota but I haven't noticed anything yet.

I'm excited. Call me crazy but there's nothing like an early morning bike ride in the fall/winter. So calm and quiet!

NJ. We've had a strange summer. One of the trees on my street started changing color back around the 4th of july. But in the last couple weeks, during the heat wave, quite a few trees are going from green to brown/yellow/red etc. And quite a few are beginning to shed their leaves.

NY a tiny bit they have but mostly no. Fall here rocks YOUR ASS OFF. Summer and fall are both the bee's knees here, in fact. Winter is good because it makes men tougher and boys more boyish.

Mmm....boys more boyish.

It's nearly Spring where I live, and yes, the blossoms have started blooming and we've had a couple of beautiful Spring days already. Looks like it has come early this year.

Why don't you have a seat right over here. Go on, just have a seat.

Maine here. Girlfriend and I went on a bike ride the other day and noticed leaves falling off a lot of trees, but haven't started changing color quite yet.

The tree directly across from our living room has started to change color - it's one of the first trees in the area to do so each year. I'm hoping for a very colorful & dry fall. NY - we get to see the hills covered in red. Cali - you get to see the trees colored in red. Big difference though 🙂

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo.

We don't have much of a fall here really.

It goes from summer to frickin' cold in a hurry some years.

Surprisingly no. I think last year it started mid august.

We did not HAVE a summer though. It was kind of like Winter->Sorta maybe spring->Fall. 2nd year in a row we don't get a summer. The only thing indicating summer is that half the roads are closed for construction, and when I say half, I"m not even exaggerating. Some detour routes actually have construction zones in them with other detour routes! It's insane. Next year they'll dig up the new pavement to redo the pipes. Pavement takes about 4-8 weeks here to do.

There used to be an abandoned railroad bridge near my place that you could walk out onto and look down the Mississippi river. It was beautiful and a great place to take a date. And then it got boarded up... 🙁

For you people who live where it snows a lot, do you or have you ever snowboarded? I would really like to try it sometime.
