has nicholas cage ever been in a good movie?

I was watching Peggy Sue Got Married the other day, and it struck me how much better the movie would have been without nicholas cage and his damned annoying voice.

it got me thinking, has he ever been in a good movie, not counting something like Fast Times at Ridgemont High where he had a bit part, or something like Raising Arizona, where it was good in spite of, not because of, him.

Thread is hard to follow with all the time warps.

Nicholas Cage's epic levels of terribadness have permeated and ruined this thread, just like he ruins his own movies.

The Rock and Lord of War were both pretty good. But I think they're just good DESPITE Cage, not BECAUSE of him. Sort of like the original matrix was pretty good despite Keanu.

I enjoyed National Treasure. Additionally, I actually enjoyed his character.

also:

The Rock
Conair
Lord of War (and Jared Leto who had a good role too)
