Btw, what is with the conservative talking point spam headlines lately? Paid shill much?

Does anyone here get money to express their opinion? If so, I want my fair share!

I think that what is happening is that when you have a one party government you have one easy target and only one group to blame for any and all problems.

That the sole party in power has already in a very, very short while demonstrated hugely irresponsible spending patterns substantially based on political patronage and an overwhelmingly liberal agenda in the midst of an economic crisis, well... that is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Note that the "conservative" criticisms are in the form of cogent, demonstrative argument and that backing statistics and documentation, often from Democrat and liberal source documents, are being provided. The "liberal" and "progressive" responses, however, are most often in the form of name calling and insults, not much in the way of rational counter-argument.

The conservatives have been unremittingly attacked for eight years, even when times were good, and are kind of having some fun getting back at a group that has not had all that time to become sharp at defending their own weak ideas and insufficient programs.

There is a crying out of pain by the liberals here, that is for sure.

P: Does anyone here get money to express their opinion? If so, I want my fair share!

M: There is talk that paid shills come to forums to post for their side. I have no idea of such is true I just go with what is posted.

P: I think that what is happening is that when you have a one party government you have one easy target and only one group to blame for any and all problems.

M: I think we have a back of goons waiting to attack democrats for anything at all. What we see is a mater of perspective and opinion. You always seem to take yours as fact.

P: That the sole party in power has already in a very, very short while demonstrated hugely irresponsible spending patterns substantially based on political patronage and an overwhelmingly liberal agenda in the midst of an economic crisis, well... that is like shooting fish in a barrel.

M: You neither know what a fish is nor a barrel. You just pull this stuff out of, well, you know where.

P: Note that the "conservative" criticisms are in the form of cogent, demonstrative argument and that backing statistics and documentation, often from Democrat and liberal source documents, are being provided. The "liberal" and "progressive" responses, however, are most often in the form of name calling and insults, not much in the way of rational counter-argument.

M: You mean like the absurdities you are stating here with all their rational arguments and links to proof? Jesus!

P: The conservatives have been unremittingly attacked for eight years, even when times were good, and are kind of having some fun getting back at a group that has not had all that time to become sharp at defending their own weak ideas and insufficient programs.

M: That they can even show their faces is a tribute to the powers of massive denial.

P: There is a crying out of pain by the liberals here, that is for sure.

M: I suffer more from amazement you can be so blind than I do from any pain.
