Democrats were hijacked by MoveOn/Soros crowd (you could tell how far the fell when they attacked the tropps in public and wished for them to lose so they could ranty-rant on Bush). Now the less radical elements remaining in Democratic party see Obama and Prozac Pelosi are taking them over a cliff. Dems from MoveOn crowd think a person is an extremist if: they dont think AWG is real, reject boys marrying each other, don't see terrorists as "like our founding fathers", don't think ACORN is peachy etc. It was obvious what Obama was before the elections but libs are good at using emotions to block facts. Back in Jan many of them were talking about Dem rule for 40 years. At the rate Obama is going the Dem party is headed for crack-up that makes what Bush did to GOP look like a picnic

The real issue is, Obama, while running for change, has no real change in mind. Just a different flavor of kool aid. I'm glad you like grape better than cherry.

Or perhaps you're one of those "we're just not spending enough money, waging wars in the right places, and spying on the right americans" liberals, and that's what you classify as "handling the bush disaster".

Who you be?

Ah yes, It's Allsurmise with his endless opinions stated as facts. Oh wait, he said 'or perhaps' even if with 'perhaps' the same implication.

But the cases you mention are all a result of Republican disaster. Republicans as you well know are the party of fear thine enemy and kill him first if you can. It is the party of cowards who have no faith in the American legal system and believe only in raw power. It is the party of cowards morons and fools, as it were, but anyway.....

As the Republicans made a demon of Communists and China only a Republican could open that door. Democrats are soft of defense. Say that a million times till you believe it.

So you imbeciles with your irrational fears have put the Democrats in the corner. There is no way any intelligent Democrat is going to allow the Republicans to paint him as soft of defense.

If those issues are important to you and, I know they are not, you just love to point to hypocrisy, then get the Republicans to lead the way. Only Republicans can compromise with the dread monster under the bed.
Name one single, significant policy that is substantially different than Bush's. And you can't use torture :) (although I would argue torture isn't significant, it's symbolic and effects zero citizens of the US)

We've been over this before. Remember when I named like 6 or 8 things that were substantially different? Iraq, stem cells, environmental issues, etc... etc.... etc.

Remember who you are talking to. You can't reprogram a wind up top.

One wonders exactly how many bats inhabits Barry Sotera's belfry. As he tries to paint all democrats as extreme as Soros and move on.org.

As it is, much of the GOP electorate remains rational, about 75% by my count, while only 25% are driven by Limbots and the religious right. But the problem is and remains, the GOP leadership are far too driven by the 25% wacky minority.

And the election of 2008 have removed many of the GOP's elder Senate spokesmen, people like Warner, DeMedici, and others who knew how to work on a bi-partisan basis, and not because they would have lost their seats in the last election, but because old age and poor health prompted them to retire.

And anyone who has any faith in the leadership or vision of McConnell or Boehner as the new GOP Moses has to have more nuts than a fruitcake.

And even if the republirats love to bash Pelsoi and Reid, they knew how to work with the GOP when Bush was Pres, and they keep the various range of democrats happy by working with the various wings.

Actually you see what you see only because you're insane. You hate what makes you human. I think you could help yourself a lot if you start wearing girls underpants. It will do your ego some good and keep you from always having to pretend you have testicles.

It probably does look like liberalism has overextended yourself if you listen to talk radio, luckily no one gives a shit what they or their listeners think outside of their own little outraged world they made for themselves.

He works for NASA and is making a list of the crazies who PM to support his positions. There aren't that many bats in the universe.

Who are you calling a liberal, the monkey or the tiger?

Neither. I didn't say liberal, I said not liberal. I never saw one that was liberal.

You are saying both the monkey and the tiger are conservatives?

You still have not responded to this important question.

Funny, while you see liberalism all I see is more of the same. But the real issue, I believe, is that Obama, while running for change, was handed the Bush disaster instead. All the effort of this administration is going, not into progress, but in saving us from drowning.

We are in the doldrums with nothing to do but bail. It was clear what would happen if we elected a disaster like Bush and now we pay the piper.

By the way, people are full of doubt because they hate themselves and the kind of pieces you post are there to sew more seeds of doubt. Hope will always be destroyed by power seekers who manipulate to stay in power. They have no hope and have replaced it with lust for money and control.

I am going to make some Folgers Instant in a few with milk and play some Warcraft and maybe have a piece of old bread. Then I'll go out and water my tomato.

It affects me. It makes me ashamed to be an American is a nation so full of assholes that would willingly torture others in the name of rights, human dignity, and freedom. Such assholes are not Americans at all but filthy cowards who have evolved out of scum. Torture is a violation of everything America stands for. That you don't see that is truly disgusting.

I'm tempted to say fuck you but you've taken care of that yourself. Cowards die many times before their deaths......

Way to ignore the question.

How do you think it's affecting that recently captured army private? Do you think his captors have any qualms about torturing him? especially now when they know that we torture their brothers? Zero effect bullshit. Not for you sitting in your underwear on a Saturday afternoon because you don't give 2 shits about that private as long as you are "safe".

I don't think they had any qualms about torturing him, regardless of our policy. The whole "if we don't torture, then insane islamic terrorists who will behead journalists but won't torture soldiers" is completely preposterous.

Sorry, I wrote you off the moment I saw you needed to ask. The answer to a fool is silence, but experience teaches us that any other answer, in the long run, has the same effect. Consider this my alternative.

OMG, Moonbeam, say it ain't so!

Are we still waiting on Kerry's signed Standard Form 180 and a chance for the electorate atlarge and the press to access his Navy files? Like Obama's long form birth certificate, are Kerry's original discharge papers, award citations and DD-214 state secrets?
