Has Anyone tried the Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7?

Don't have it, but a few things about it that would make me consider it, if I was in the market:
- Intel LAN (my board has Intel and Realtek GbE lan and on file copies I can see I very noticeable difference one over the other).
- The board has a good cooling system. Gotta make sure to dust in here when dusting the CPU cooler, etc, but they are a nice addition.
- All SATA is off the Intel chip, so no confusion about using the "underperforming" ports.
- It took them too long, but Gigabyte has a nice GUI BIOS and their board software has improved quite a bit as well.

So if you want to spend the money on it, I don't think you would be disappointed. Gigabytes have always been solid boards for me, and they are good with BIOS and driver updates when needed.

Cool, thank you for the that. Since most folks haven't gotten their 8700K yet, there aren't many people that can report on these mobos.

This board will go on sale black friday for $179.99 after $10 MIR at newegg. It was on sale for over a week for $189.99 after $10 MIR for the last week or two. Just a heads-up =)

Hmmmm, thank you for the head's up! I was planning to do this build over the Thanksgiving break, but that's a $70 price drop from where it is now at $249.

No problem, they have it listed here on their black friday ad which starts on 11/20: https://promotions.newegg.com/nepro/17-7446/#p=6

I am in the same boat as you and will most likely get this board. I was going to jump on it when it was $189.99 AMIR but my 8700K didn't come yet.

My wife said buy it now so I can build during the Thanksgiving break, so OK then!!! Bought it and have it in hand. yes I spent $249, but I figure I am helping out the economy 😀🙂
