I visited Dallas in March, and couldn't beleive how much better the roadways and drivers were. Then we got to fly home and drive the BQE and NJ Turnpike during rush hour and a downpour.

I just did a 4 year term in college station and found only one universal truth on the road ways... if there is a stupid sorority blonde within 20 miles she will find her way in front of me and piss me off ;)

Of course not that is the speed limit, that is the only way to drive and that is to obey all the law's. Just because someone drives 20 MPH over the speed limit does not make him or her a good driver. In fact it is just the opposit.

We were in a 60mph zone and the people ahead were going 30mph. Freaking retards.
Then there were all the people who "forgot" to indicate.
Then on the way back, my Dad said he nearly wiped out his car as this van with trailer decided to turn without indicating just as my Dad was about to overtake him.

IDIOTS.

I loved driving there, people were always courteous and I had no problems with SBs. Maybe it was you?

nobody drives good-- its just that some places aren't as bad as others.

From my experience, the further south you go, driving gets less stressful.
