<< << That movie reminds me of a book I read in elementary.. "The Hatchet" I think that's what the book's name >>
I loved that book when I was a kid. That was about the kid who crashes his plane and has nothing but his father's hatchet to live with, right? Great book.

Yup that's the one. It's VERY similar to the movie.

It was alright for what it was. I'm not sure it added anything revolutionary to movie-dom, but that doesn't make it a bad movie.

In any case, a movie where the lead removes a tooth with an ice skate can't be all that bad.

I thought Castaway was an excellent movie...

some people just want the movie to come out and massage them too...

some expect way too much..

I just watched it on DVD last night. I'm not a big fan of blockbuster movies (in general), but this one's a keeper.

different strokes for different folks

some people need lots of action to keep their attention

I need a good story, good script, and good acting.
Cast Away did it very well for me.
I don't mind a slow show if it has something to offer, and this one did, IMO.
It pulled me into his world, and made me feel for him.

Oh Brother killed me. I'm definitely gonna buy this one when I find the best price. The music was outstanding.

One that disappointed me, that I just barely saw, was Crouching Tiger, Hidden Flying Fairies. The acting was good, and the scenery was nice, but the flying stuff just made me chuckle. I kept waiting for Willow to pop out with some magic dust.
