PCResources died, but his skills were once again needed so the Elite Swedish Navy seals cloned him. SnapIT was born.

Which forum do you see him in?

is this a trick question?
I see him post in a few different forums and I don't find any of his posts annoying. On the contary, compared to the usual drivel posted in OT his threads are gold.

Yep, he's a regular @ Broadband Reports.

I know I was one of the people in favor of banning him, but have since softened my position.

He had awesome taste in music:D

HawkeyeNJ dying on 9/11 is Anandtech's own urban legend. It just keeps on being told despite there being absolutely nothing to indicate that it happened. I get a laugh out of it every time.
You didn't find it odd that such an established/involved/Elite member like Hawk (I believe he was in the 10K-20K post range) would just disappear off of the face of the earth? Yes, it was never confirmed that he died in 9/11, but it's very likely that he died somehow around 9/11. A classy older guy who was helping everyone so much wouldn't pull a stunt like that, it would be the equivalent to Rossman doing something like that. So while you're laughing about Hawk's death, many of us are remembering what a great guy he was and how much he contributed to the forums.

Oh, please! Once more - there is absolutely nothing to indicate that he died! Nothing! At all! He basically stopped posting in July. He contributed greatly here and he stopped. That's all we know.
