Social Security: if a business operates the way SS does, the corp officers would be thrown in jail for investment fraud.

IRS what other agency can just come in and sieze your assets just because they say you owe money? They have the authority to do this WITHOUT having to go through DUE PROCESS.

How old are you any way? Just wait until you earn a decent salary, only to see almost half of it go into ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS. That you will never see the benefit of. SS will be bankrupt and we will never see the a dime of what we put into it.

I don't see what's so difficult to comprehend. Have you heard of tolls? Not that tolls would be the only source of funding (several other ideas have been proposed), but the general idea is that you aren't forced to pay some generic tax for something you'll never use.

You continue to put words in the mouths of the Libertarians. Saying that the Libertarians would destroy the military makes even less sense than saying that Al Gore or GWB would destroy the military. I cant say I'm a Browne supporter per se but I do support the Libertarian party. I get the Liberator Online. I havent had that great of an opportunity to &quot;get to know&quot; Harry. If he was given equal time I think I would support him.

i get the feeling that pretty much all of the techie crowd supports the libertarian party. i think it has to do with the fact that we are intelligent enough to do research and think for ourselves.

He has said he will NOT run in 4 years again for the presidency. Twice is enough. It doesn't really matter who runs libertarian in his place though. Unlike Democrats and Rebublicans, you are voting for a party in this case and not the person; furthermore, they aren't puppets like the 2 big parties. Each person has the same goals and stand the same on the issues, so it doesn't matter which libertarian is elected. Most publicity for the Libertarians in the near future will be from their upcoming FEC lawsuit. It will be great to see that down.

1/4 of it goes to paying off the national debt interest, without dwindling it any. More to a failed Social Security program that will go bankrupt in a decade. And more yet to pay court fees to jail pot smokers, and plea bargaining sex offenders. And more yet to kill people in the Middle East which will somehow, promote peace. That would be a majority.
 
BowDowns ignorance is deplorable. He just represents the large portion of close-minded individuals whose fear of change is so great that they refuse to listen or consider anything except what their church, parents, or government has brainwashed them into believing. It is blantantly obvious that BowDown knows nothing about Browne, the Libertarians, and probably even how his candidate stands on the issues. He only knows that the majority is always right and the majority is Republicrat. In a sense, BowDown's idiocy is humorous. But on the other hand it is very depressing and sobering to realize that he has as much influence on the future of this country as intelligent people do.

FYI - There is really one person behind the recent economic success of the United States. He is chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, and his name is Alan Greenspan. He is also a devout Libertarian. Come to your own conclusions.

Did you Know? Social Security employess are not allowed to pay into the program, nor do they receive benefits. Do they know something we dont.....
